In 2024, Everyone Needs A Steve continued its mission to reduce suicide rates and improve mental health among veterans, first responders, and individuals affected by trauma. Through community fundraising, direct grants, and volunteer support, we put your contributions to work where they matter most. Here’s how your generous contributions made a difference:
In 2024, our primary focus was maximizing direct support to veterans. By board decision, we utilized a portion of our carried-over cash reserves from 2023 ($2,426) to help absorb baseline administrative costs. This allowed 95.3% of all net event fundraising dollars ($6,000 of $6,298) to go straight into program grants.
